Community Services Council of Woodbury | Woodbury, CT

The Community Services Council of Woodbury is a nonprofit organization currently serving more than 140 low-income families in Woodbury. The Council depends exclusively on private donations and grants to meet the growing need for assistance programs including the Woodbury Food Bank, fuel and electricity support, and short-term aid to households in financial crisis.  

Kitty Kat Rescue | Oakville, CT

Kitty Kat Rescue is dedicated to rescuing, fostering, vaccinating, sterilizing, and adopting cats in order to reduce the population of unwanted and not cared for cats.

Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition | Woodbury, CT

Pomperaug River Watershed Coalition (PRWC) works to ensure plentiful high quality water in the Pomperaug Watershed communities through the use of science and education. PRWC shares their knowledge and expertise with others committed to the protection of water resources for future generations.

Quilts that Care | Waterbury, CT

Quilts That Care is a charitable organization focused on providing hope and support to cancer patients. Founded in April 2012 by a group of women equipped with sewing machines and a passion to help others, it has since blossomed into a group of 80+ volunteers dedicated to giving comfort and hope to individuals currently undergoing cancer treatment. They invite you to learn more about the group and how you can help make a difference in the lives of family, friends, and neighbors.
